LYNCH CANYON REGIONAL PARK:DUAL USE FOR VIETNAM ERA VETS

The upper trail at Lynch Canyon twenty miles west of Travis AFB is a B plus for veterans. The trail has a slight elevation but the path is well groomed.

The upper trail leading to the small reservoir is best for good exercise and a reflective and peaceful time. The mixed use nature of the trail includes ducks, livestock and a plethora of native birds. This walk is green most of the winter and early part of the spring.

Returning the next day with a full moon, I took the lower trail through the hills. This trail just west of yesterday's trek was full of private spots and benches. Good for either meditation or Qi Gong.
